Goals of Initiative

Inspiration for Initiative

My school regularly brings in guest speakers to speak about their professions. All these speakers captivated me and inspired me to dream bigger than my craziest dreams.

I wanted to hear from more speakers from all possible professions. I wanted to find leaders in every field I am interested in and listen to their stories, their successes, their challenges.

There is a vast amount of professions that exist, but the success stories from each one are not commonly known. My mission is to unlock as many as I can to show the diversity of fields women have leadership in.

I go to an all girls school which emphasizes the power that females can hold. I want to pass on this emphasis to every girl in this world. By highlighting stories from successful female leaders, girls from the D.C. area or any where in the world, can look up to these visionaries and dream bigger too.

Working Washington Women is an initiative which unmasks the stories of many successful female leaders in the D.C. area. These stories will inspire the next generation and motivate them to become future leaders.

This initiative includes a diverse set of professions to allow students to explore their interests and fuel their passion in those fields. These stories will unlock the secret of success, showing that success is attainable in different paths and timelines.

Working Washington Women will inspire girls and boys to follow their dreams and shine hope that anyone can be successful in any field.
